I'm glad to report that I survived my hubby's surprise cooking. Joking aside, my pasty was delicious (although I didn't let on that much). My daughter loved hers and we scoffed the lot.
This was my pasty - it even looked good. After 18 years together, it just goes to show that anything is possible and hubby being so spontaneous was very welcome.
